Greta Karinauskaite, a sophomore at Cal Baptist representing Lithuania, won the women's invitational 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:52.28 at the Fresno State Bulldog Invitational at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Karinauskaite was just off her April 1 personal-best 9:51.43 at the same venue at the West Coast Relays.
